County Convention
The Lamar County Libertarian Party will hold its 2026 County Convention on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in the Gallery of the Paris Public Library, located at 326 S Main St, Paris, TX 75460. This convention is open to the public, welcoming all interested individuals to observe or learn more about the process.
Full participation, including voting rights, is reserved for delegates selected at the March 10 precinct convention (or those who otherwise became voting members through affiliation at that level). Attendees will vote on and elect new county party officers, consider and adopt any proposed changes to county bylaws, nominate candidates for county offices appearing on the November 2026 general election ballot, and elect delegates and alternates to the Texas Libertarian Party State Convention.
Active participation strengthens the Libertarian voice for limited government, individual liberty, and personal responsibility in Lamar County and across Texas.
